Meher Roshani Foundation celebrated a Happy Humanity Day in praise of the Womanhood, who is the only proxy of the Creator on the Planet, to bring HIS Creation to life.
We distributed sarees, a small bottle of oil and small pouches to the ladies, biscuit packets to the children and soaps to men.
We spoke to them in Hindi, about living in harmony and accepting what God gives with Grace and Courage. And when we accept that with thanks and smile, we actually get more. As I was talking to them on the acceptance part, another bunch of youngsters came up and asked "where were we from?, as they had encountered someone doing this for the 1st time." They introduced themselves as a group of youngsters who do food seva for poor people and had last 7 to 8 packs left after their distribution. And right there after telling those destitute fellow siblings, that when you accept with grace and smile, God gives more, they right there got daal khichdi along with all the goodies that we were distributing. Giving thanks and saying Jai Baba to each one and talking to them, we left.
We took some rounds to find more and by that Baba reinstated the fact that "We cannot be Givers unless there is a Receiver." As we acknowledged that once again, and I shared it with my Angels Sangita and Anita who had accompanied me, HE got us more people to share the joy with.
Also shared with them thoughts on sharing things from what they have got, and not fight among themselves. We instilled in them the importance of washing, sanitising and thus preventing diseases, etc. while distributing the soaps.
It was a heartfelt trip and two new ones who joined us, were my little house help Sujata and my loving Cat Divine... Yes she was in her little carry basket joining us in the Humanity Day Celebration.
