Today, 27th January 2015, is Meher Baba's Roj birthday as per the Parsi Kadmi Calendar. 'Roj' means day, it is like the 'Tithi' in Hindu calendar. His Gregorian (English) Calendar Birthday, falls on 25th February.

When he was born, they called him Merwan. His other name, Meher Baba, would come many years later. The date was recorded by the Zoroastrian Calendar: Tir Roj, the month of Meher, 1263 Yezdezardi. The ways of Divine are such that 25th February 1943 was also the day Baba's Mother Shireen mai went to Heavenly abode of Baba.
The day She gave us the Avatar was her chosen day, to merge back with HIM.
